Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) I've had very poor luck with both HP and Dell printers in the past. Fortunately, I gave Epson a shot and they have been my printer of choice since. Build quality is always solid, never had a DOA. Ink is cheap and control panel is user friendly. Print quality has always exceeded my expectations.

The XP-310 is an entry level all in one, but don't let the tiny price tag fool you, this is a quality and versatile piece of hardware. It's a bit more compact than your average all-in-one which is great for those with limited desk space. The control panel folds out for easier use and folds back in so that it is flush against the body when you're done. The input and output trays also extend and contract. This allows it to keep a clean and compact look when you're not using it.

Out of the box setup could not be simpler. I was up and running, printing photos in less than 15 minutes. Press the wireless setup button on the menu, select your network, type in your password and you're good to go. Throw an SD card in the front slot and use the menu to browse pictures and select the ones you want to print. Could not be easier. It also makes copies using the scanner and, while the scanning area could be a bit bigger, it easily accommodates your standard 8.5 x 11 paper. The interface is extremely simple and effective.

What really impressed me is the Epson iPrint App (free on the app store). Once installed you can print from your phone (photos, documents, emails, web pages) and scan images directly to your phone. I was also surprised that my WF 2540 also showed up on my list of available printers. This is great as I no longer have to email photos and documents to myself so I can sit at my computer or laptop and print.

Printing is crystal clear. I was unable to locate photo paper so I printed a photo from my camera roll on my iPhone 5 to regular office paper. I was very impressed with the detail and color saturation evident on the sub-par paper.

Epson has once again exceeded my expectations and released a no-nonsense home office solution that is professional quality at an entry level price. Highly recommended!
